WEST PHILADELPHIA - Two people were killed Saturday afternoon during a triple shooting in West Philadelphia that also injured a 3-year-old child, according to police.

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department said all three victims arrived at Penn Presbyterian Hospital just before 2:30 p.m.

suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Two 23-year-old men were shot throughout the body, police said. They were both pronounced dead just before 3 p.m.

A 3-year-old boy who was shot three times in the right leg is in stable condition, according to police. Police did not announce any arrests immediately following the deadly shooting.

STRAWBERRY MANSION - Philadelphia police say a 12-year-old boy found shot in the leg on the front steps of a home in Strawberry Mansion accidentally shot himself.Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the 3400 block of Ridge Avenue around 12:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that the young victim was found sitting on the front steps of a home with a gunshot wound below the left knee. Officers rushed him to Temple Hospital where he was placed in stable condition.
