PHILADELPHIA - Officials announced Monday the arrest of a second man in connection to a Thanksgiving Day homicide that happened last year. Savian "Dexx" Creary, 19, of Philadelphia, faces numerous charges including first degree murder, conspiracy, and more for his role in the shooting death of Edilberto Miguel Palaez Moctezuma. Moctezuma was killed in his Arch Street residence when gunfire entered through his home.An arrest warrant has also been issued for Tymere "Brady" Parker, 20, of Sanger Street in Philadelphia.Kevon Clarke was previously arrested Dec. 13, 2021 and charged with First-Degree Murder and related charges in connection to the homicide. RELATED COVERAGE: Authorities launched an investigation and found that the shooting was connected to a dispute at another Thanksgiving party on the 100 block of Haws Avenue earlier in the day.

Berry shared a home with the victim and the victim's mother. He was taken into custody on Jan.

PHILADELPHIA - The son of a Philadelphia police officer was shot and killed during a suspected robbery in North Philadelphia, authorities said Monday. The shooting occurred just after 4:30 a.m. in the area of Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue. Police responded to the scene and found the 23-year-old male victim suffering from nine gunshots wounds, including eight to the back.

Scott Quiner (FOX 9) - A Buffalo, Minnesota man has died battling COVID-19, almost a week after being moved to Texas for care following a lawsuit over his ventilator.Scott Quiner died at 55 in a Texas hospital Saturday morning, the family's attorney confirmed to FOX 9. Quiner’s family went to court two weeks ago to get a restraining order to keep Allina Health from pulling the plug on the ventilator that was keeping him alive in Minnesota.FOX 9 does not have all the specifics of Quiner’s medical records, but his loved ones and their attorney reported the 55-year old father of three was unvaccinated when he was first diagnosed with COVID-19 in late October, around Halloween.He required deep sedation, a breathing tube, and a ventilator when his oxygen levels got dangerously low and did not improve.Scott’s wife, Anne Quiner claimed Allina threatened to pull the plug on that ventilator two weeks ago and that is when she went to court to fight.Anne had power of attorney over Scott’s healthcare decisions.

The suspect pulled out his gun and demanded money and valuables from the elderly man, authorities said. Before leaving, the suspect tied up the victim and drove off in the man’s 2005 Ford Taurus.Authorities transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries to his head, including a gash near his eye.On Friday, Sheriff Jason Ard announced the arrest of two suspects in this case: 49-year-old John Bailey and 39-year-old Ruman Laurent."I’m very proud to know that we’ve got these people in custody, in jail, where they belong," Ard stressed.
