PRINCETON, N.J. - A Princeton University student from Ohio who went missing near campus roughly a week ago was found dead Thursday, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri said.Misrach Ewunetie, 20, was found by an employee at about 1 p.m. behind tennis courts on the campus facilities grounds, Onofri said. There were no obvious signs of injury "her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature," but an official cause of death will be determined after a medical examiner’s review, he said."Misrach’s death is an unthinkable tragedy.

BENSALEM, Pa. - The Bensalem Township Police Department is drafting a plan to combat car meetups after nearly 300 cars gathered at Neshaminy Mall over the weekend. According to police, the large number of cars gathered at the mall on Saturday around 11:30 p.m., more than three hours after the mall closed for the night. People gathered as vehicles did car tricks like burnouts and donuts in the middle of a crowd, authorities say. Officials say investigators learned the same group of vehicles was at the Oxford Valley Mall first before heading to Neshaminy Mall. After the group was dispersed, the cars then gathered at Willow Grove mall, according to police. "This has been a growing problem for many communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania," police said.

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Prosecutors plan to rest their cast Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the Darrell Brooks trial, charged in the November 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade attack. There was just one witness on the stand for the state Tuesday, along with one witness for the defense – called out of order due to the need for an interpreter.Tuesday's testimony focused on law enforcement interrogations of Brooks after his arrest on Elizabeth Street shortly after the Christmas parade attack. After the prosecutors rests their case, Brooks can present his defense.

Deptford Township Police Department are investigating a car crash that left a man dead on Tuesday morning.  DEPTFORD TWP, N.J. - Deptford Township Police Department are investigating a car crash that left a man dead on Tuesday morning. Just before 9 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Clements Bridge Road, right along the Camden County border, for reports of a vehicle collision. Police say after they arrived, it was determined that a late model Honda Accord collided with two FedEx trucks. The driver of the Honda Accord, who authorities say is a 24-year-old man from Deptford Township, was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities say the identity of the victim is being withheld until family has been notified. This crash is actively being investigated and police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 856-845-2220, or email [email protected].

PHILADELPHIA - A driver is wanted for a fatal hit-and-run in Philadelphia's Fox Chase section, and now police say they have the vehicle on camera.The 62-year-old victim was crossing Verree Road near Rhawn Street when he was hit by a speeding vehicle Friday night, according to police.Police say the vehicle, a blue Ford Edge, then dragged the man at least 100 feet.

COLOMBO (News 1st) – Sri Lanka Navy said it has sought the assistance of neighboring countries to locate the Sri Lanka Navy boat that went missing with six Sri Lankan sailors.Navy Spokesperson Captain Indika De Silva told News 1st that information about the missing boat was relayed to the authorities in India, Maldives, Indonesia, and Australia assuming that the Sri Lanka Navy boat may have drifted into international waters.The Sri Lanka Navy boat with six sailors had been engaged in operations to monitor suspicious activity in the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka and had left Sri Lanka on the 16th of September, and has been missing for exactly one month.On the 17th of September 2022, the Sri Lanka Navy lost all communication with the boat in question, and the Navy Spokesperson said that search and rescue operations are continuing to locate the missing sailors and the boat.
