162 people self-quarantined over failure to wear face masks

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have directed 162 people who failed to wear face masks in public places to self-quarantine.“Another 905 were strictly advised for the failure to wear face masks,” Sri Lanka Police said on Wednesday (July 1).They were identified during raids conducted in the Western province, from 6:00 am on Tuesday (June 30) to 5:00 am on Wednesday morning.Furthermore, 402 suspects connected to drug offences were also arrested during the same raid.“Stocks of drugs including over 115 grams of Heroin and 1 kg of Cannabis were seized during the raid,” Sri Lanka Police noted...
