PHILADELPHIA - Gun violence continued to plague Philadelphia on Sunday as local authorities reported more than half a dozen people were shot across the city, including a deadly triple shooting in which three teens were gunned down.
The Mother's Day triple shooting happened just after 1:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of North 21st Street, according to police. Officers from the 39th district said three young men were found shot inside a parked Nissan, including a teen who was fatally shot in the head.One victim, a 19-year-old man, was reportedly shot eight times in the torso and taken to Temple Hospital by police in extremely critical condition.
Officers also drove an 18-year-old man to Temple with a non-fatal gunshot wound to the arm.MORE: 1.
